Pumpkin patch

This past weekend we took Mady to the pumpkin patch up in Weston. The Red Barn Farm is known for its pumpkins, baby animals, and amazing sweet potato butter. We had a great time, the weather was gorgeous, and we got there right before the crowds hit. We splurged and took the tractor hayride out to the pumpkin patch. It was a very cool sight, coming up over the hill and seeing the bright orange pumpkins everywhere!

Mady was very interested in the baby pumpkins, they were just her size!!

One wasn't enough for her!
She needed one for each hand!

In the end we got one big one for carving and
one small one for Mady to play with.

I know I promised this post would be up sooner this week, but poor Mady has been sick. She came down with a high fever on Tuesday and then Wednesday started vomiting. We decided to get her checked out by the doctor just to rule out the flu or H1N1. It turns out she had neither, but instead she got the infamous Hand, Foot, Mouth disease. Luckily it was just a mild case and after spending the last few days at home you wouldn't even know she was sick!

The good news is that she's doing so much better, the bad news is that we have to miss the RB Halloween party this weekend. Maybe next year!

I love the pictures! I can't believe how grown up our girls are. Time goes so quick.

I love how small her pumpkin is to the other one! She's getting so big!
